Arsenal crushed its guest, Manchester City, with five goals, while Tottenham returned to the path of victories, by defeating Brentford, and Manchester United fell to Crystal Palace at its stadium, today, Sunday, in the 24th round of the English Premier League.
Arsenal scored four goals in the second half to secure a 5-1 win over visiting Premier League champions Manchester City in a top-of-the-table clash on Sunday.
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard gave the home side the lead after two minutes, following a poor pass from defender Manuel Akanji, which led to the German Kai Havertz sending a wonderful cross for Odegaard to easily put the ball into the net from close range.
City had to wait until the 55th minute to equalise through a header from Norwegian Erling Haaland, following a perfect cross from Savinho.
But Thomas Partey put the hosts ahead two minutes later with a powerful shot from outside the box, which took a deflection off defender John Stones and into the net of City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.

Miles Lewis-Skelly extended the London club's lead in the 62nd minute with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area.
Gabriel Martinelli led a counterattack, before sending a pass into the penalty area for Havertz to shoot into the far corner in the 75th minute.
Youngster Ithan Nwaneri completed Arsenal's five-goal haul with a brilliant strike from the edge of the penalty area in the third minute of stoppage time.
Arsenal are in second place with 50 points from 24 matches, 6 points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a postponed match, while City's tally is frozen at 41 points in fourth place.

Tottenham back to winning ways
Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways with a 2-0 away win over Brentford.
Tottenham ended the first half ahead with an own goal scored by Brentford player Vitaliy Ganelet in the 29th minute.
In the second half, Senegalese Baba Matar Sarr strengthened the London team's lead with a second goal in the 87th minute.
With this win, Tottenham broke a streak of 4 consecutive defeats, and achieved its eighth victory in the league competition this season.
The London team raised its score to 27 points in 14th place.
The win gives Tottenham a morale boost ahead of two tough away games when they face Liverpool in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final next Thursday, and then visit Aston Villa in the FA Cup three days later.
As for Brentford, they suffered their 11th loss in the league this season, remaining in 11th place, with 31 points.
Manchester United fall again
Crystal Palace achieved a valuable away win, defeating Manchester United 2-0.
Jean-Philippe Mateta scored the two goals in the 64th and 89th minutes of the match, which was held at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United.
Manchester United disappointed its fans, freezing its points at 29 and dropping to thirteenth place, after suffering its eleventh loss in the league this season.

As for Crystal Palace, it rose to twelfth place with 30 points, after achieving its seventh victory this season.
Manchester United are preparing for a tough test in the next round, when they visit Tottenham Hotspur next Sunday, while Crystal Palace will play at home against Everton.
