Minister of Trade: Yemeni investment in Saudi Arabia ranks 13th

Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal, revealed that Yemeni investment ranks 13th among countries investing in Saudi Arabia.

This came during an expanded meeting held in Mecca today, Saturday, with Yemeni businessmen, investors, and participants in the Yemeni-Saudi Business Council, which is scheduled to start tomorrow, Sunday.

The meeting will continue for 3 days in Mecca, under the slogan "Saudi Vision for Yemeni Development 2030", between the Yemeni side represented by the Yemeni Business Council, according to what was reported by the official "Saba" agency.

Minister Al-Ashwal stressed the importance of the discussions aimed at enhancing economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, as it is considered the nucleus for other councils, pointing out the importance of coordination and joint cooperation in the council and raising challenges in general.

Al-Ashwal said, "The council is an important step towards achieving economic integration between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, and represents a new beginning for cooperation in various fields and exploring available investment opportunities."
