Al Jazeera broadcast special footage of the ambush carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - against an Israeli force in the northern Gaza Strip, during which an officer and two soldiers were killed.

According to the footage - published by Al Jazeera - the operation, which Al Qassam called "Snake Hunting", took place yesterday, Monday, in the Education Roundabout area, where the force was lured and its members were killed and wounded.

It showed an Israeli soldier entering a destroyed house to inspect it before the force entered it, and after he left it, a Quadcopter drone was sent to inspect the area.

Neither the soldier nor the plane could detect the two bombs that had been planted in advance inside and outside the house. After the force infiltrated the house, the bomb was detonated directly on 3 individuals.

After the house exploded, a force of 10 people fled the house, where the second bomb exploded, killing 7 of them.

Al-Qassam published a photo of three dead people and left a fourth photo blank with a question mark over it. It said that the occupation is hiding its real losses, and that it did not disclose the rest of the details of the operation due to the security situation, adding: “There is more to come.”

On Monday, Al-Qassam said it killed 3 Israeli soldiers in a complex operation in Beit Lahia. Israeli Channel 13 said 3 soldiers were killed by an explosive device in Beit Hanoun.

The Israeli army announced that the three soldiers killed in the operation were from the Kfir Brigade, and said that one of them was an officer.

Israeli media also quoted Israeli sources as saying that the operation also resulted in the injury of 3 others, one of whom is in critical condition.
