A citizen was killed by his brother in a town in Shabwa Governorate (southeast Yemen), in the latest domestic violence crime in Yemen.
Local sources said that the citizen (Saleh Abdullah Hussein Shabath Al-Dayani) was killed yesterday, Saturday, by his brother in Wadi Khora in the Lower Markha District, west of Shabwa.
The motives for the crime, which comes amid an increase in murders in the province under the control of forces affiliated with the Transitional Council, were not immediately known.
Since the Transitional Forces took control of it more than two years ago, Shabwa Governorate has witnessed massive security chaos and a frightening escalation in murders, especially those of a family nature and tribal revenge.
