The Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Foreign Trade Sector, headquartered in the interim capital, Aden, warned against holding any internal or external exhibitions without obtaining licenses from it in accordance with the law.
This came in a circular published by the ministry on its social media pages.
The circular addressed to the Department of Internal and External Exhibitions (all companies and commercial entities not to hold any internal or external exhibitions without obtaining licenses to hold commercial exhibitions).
According to the circular, this comes “in accordance with Law No. (16) of 2007 regarding foreign trade and Cabinet Resolution No. (360) of 2009 regarding the regulations, conditions and rules for organizing and holding domestic and foreign trade exhibitions.”
The ministry warned violators that it would "take the necessary legal measures against violators."
