On Sunday evening, gunmen from the Al Masoud tribes in Al Qurishiyah District in Al Bayda Governorate (central Yemen) launched an attack on Houthi militia sites and gatherings in the “Al Hanka” area, and eliminated the elements stationed inside.
Local sources said that tribal gunmen breached the siege imposed by the militia on the area for weeks and attacked checkpoints and a site that the militia had turned into a military barracks.
The sources added that the attackers killed the militia elements stationed in the targeted locations after clashes at close range, while one of the attackers was killed near one of the locations during the clashes and the others withdrew safely.
For about a month, the terrorist Houthi militia has been leading a military campaign in the Hanakat Al Masoud area, during which it has committed terrorist crimes against the residents, in an extension of the widespread crimes that have targeted the residents and tribes of Qayfa Rada’a for years.
