Al Jawf: Yemen Youth Net - Special

The terrorist Houthi militia in Al-Jawf Governorate (northeast of Yemen) confiscated quantities of food and consumer goods from citizens who brought them from the neighboring Ma'rib Governorate.
Tribal sources said that the Houthi militia at the customs point in the Al-Hazm area, the center of Al-Jawf Governorate, confiscated yesterday, Monday, quantities of flour, rice, sugar, gas cylinders and fuel, which were brought from Marib Governorate.
According to sources, these quantities are bought by citizens from Marib due to the price difference between the two governorates, or their displaced families obtain them from relief organizations.
In an attempt to exacerbate the suffering of citizens, the Houthi militia prevents the entry of any food or consumer goods from areas controlled by the legitimate government to areas under its control, despite the price difference between the two areas, as these goods cost less in areas under government influence.
The Houthi militia imposes a strict siege on national products manufactured in government areas or those imported through its ports, and replaces them with products imported through loyal merchants, as part of its ongoing economic war on the legitimate government.
