On Saturday evening, the Yemeni ambassador to Indonesia, Dr. Abdulghani Nasr Al-Shamiri, passed away due to a temporary health problem.

Media sources reported that Ambassador Al-Shamiri died days after entering intensive care in a hospital in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, following a sudden health problem caused by dengue fever.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all its members at home and abroad mourned Dr. Abdulghani Nasr Al-Shamiri, the Yemeni Ambassador to Indonesia, who passed away at MMC Hospital in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, after a life full of giving in the service of the nation.

According to Saba News Agency, the ministry indicated that Ambassador Al-Shamiri held many positions, including our country's ambassador to Indonesia, and worked within the framework of the presidency of the republic, the Ministry of Information, and in the departments of radio and television institutions, and held many national tasks.. stressing that the country lost a prominent diplomatic, political and media figure.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy for this painful loss, asking God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon him, to grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
