Ibb.. Citizens demand a speedy trial of a man accused of killing the young man Suleiman Ghuwair

Hundreds of citizens demanded that the militia authorities quickly try a man accused of brutally killing a young man in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), which is witnessing widespread security chaos and widespread criminal activity.

Local sources said that hundreds of people from Wadi Manasir area in Fara Al-Udayn district, west of Ibb, buried the body of the victim (Sulaiman Ghuwair) on Thursday, two months after he was brutally murdered by (Wadih Muhammad Al-Ansi) inside their workplace in Ibb city.

The sources added that the protesters raised banners and chanted slogans stressing the need to quickly try the perpetrator and impose a deterrent punishment on him, warning against any attempts to dilute the case or manipulate its course.

The protesters stressed that the leniency towards crimes in the governorate contributed to their remarkable spread during the past months and years.

On December 8, "Ghuwair" was killed inside a bakery, after the perpetrator stabbed him several times in different parts of his body, causing him to fall dead instantly.
