Marib local authority explains circumstances of attack on delegation of National Resistance Political Bureau

The local authority in Ma'rib Governorate announced, on Tuesday, the start of investigations into the incident of the attack on the delegation of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, headed by Kamel Al-Khodani, on one of the side roads in Al-Wadi District last Sunday.

A responsible source confirmed that the directives of Major General Sultan Al-Arada, member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib, stressed the pursuit of the perpetrators and bringing them to justice.

The source explained that the security services immediately began implementing the directives, as investigations began and tracking down the perpetrators involved in the heinous attack to arrest them and bring them to justice, stressing that such practices do not reflect the morals and values of the people of the governorate.

The source pointed out the local authority's commitment to protecting the security and safety of citizens, stressing that the security services will not tolerate any attempts to destabilize the security of the governorate or cause chaos.

He stressed that enhancing security and the rule of law is a strategic goal and a top priority for the local authority, despite the challenges facing the governorate, including the ongoing attempts by cells linked to the terrorist Houthi militia.

The source called on everyone to cooperate with the security authorities and report any suspicious movements that may contribute to the arrest of the perpetrators, stressing that the local authority will continue its efforts to enhance security and stability and protect public and private rights.
