Ibb: Yemen Youth Net - Special

The terrorist Houthi militia directed the imams of the mosques of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen) to change the times of the call to prayer for fasting and breaking the fast during the days of the holy month of Ramadan, while its elements began to impose and collect financial levies from merchants and vendors by force.
Yemeni Youth Net sources said that the Houthi militia, led by the so-called "Abu Yasser Al-Muhajir", who was appointed by the militia as director of the Guidance Office, directed the imams of the mosques of the city of Ibb to bring forward the dawn call to prayer and delay the sunset call to prayer by about 10 minutes at both times.
The sources added that the leader "Al-Muhajir" distributed new calendars to the city's mosques and affiliated directorates, which include modified times for the call to prayer and prayer, different from the official time of the governorate.
The sources explained that the attempt to delay the Maghrib call to prayer comes within the sectarian orientation of the militia, which links the time of Iftar to the "appearance of the stars."
The sources indicated that the Houthi directives were met with strong rejection from mosque imams and society, as they only received a response from some mosques that were hardly mentioned under duress.
In another context, the Houthi militia deployed hundreds of gunmen in the streets of Ibb city and its districts, to impose financial levies on merchants.
Commercial sources said that hundreds of Houthi elements have spread out in the center of Ibb Governorate and its secondary cities, and are imposing financial levies on merchants and vendors under the name of zakat.
The sources added that the Houthi elements are imposing large sums of money on merchants, regardless of the commercial movement, which is almost at a standstill throughout the year, and threatening those who refuse with imprisonment.
The Houthi militia exploits the month of Ramadan every year to collect money from merchants and vendors under the name of zakat and deposits it into special accounts for the benefit of its leaders and the war effort, without paying it to those entitled to it.
