Last night, violent battles broke out between the National Army and Popular Resistance forces on the one hand and the terrorist Houthi militia on the other hand on several fronts in Ma'rib Governorate (eastern Yemen).
Military sources said that the terrorist Houthi militia launched simultaneous attacks and infiltration attempts last night on several army and resistance forces' sites on the Marib fronts, the most violent of which was on the southern front, which witnessed violent confrontations that lasted for several hours.
The sources added that the Houthi militia carried out attacks on the army and resistance positions on the Balq front (south), Al-Kasara (west), and Raghwan (northwest of Marib) amidst heavy artillery fire.
The sources explained that these attacks were accompanied by the militia sending more reinforcements to these fronts.
The sources indicated that the army and resistance forces were able to thwart the Houthi attacks after inflicting heavy losses on the militia in equipment and lives, and were also able to capture a number of its attacking elements, while the rest of them fled.
During the last few days and weeks, the terrorist Houthi militia has intensified its hostile operations towards army positions on various fronts in Marib, in conjunction with the deployment of large military reinforcements and mobilizations.
