Security forces arrest suspects in two murders and a shooting in Taiz

The security services in Taiz Governorate Police (southwest of Yemen) arrested a wanted person in connection with a murder case and another for opening fire in one of the city’s markets.

The security media in the governorate quoted the director of the Safiya Police Station, Captain Yassin Al-Akhaly, as saying that the police department personnel succeeded in arresting the person called "M. A. S.", who is wanted in a murder case that occurred yesterday evening, Monday, in the Safiya area.

He added that the accused was detained to complete the legal procedures and refer him to the competent authority.

In the same context, the September 26 Police Forces were able to arrest the person called (Kh. A. H.), after he opened fire in Al-Waleed Market, which resulted in citizens sustaining varying injuries.

Major Mohamed Alawi, Director of the 26th of September Police Department, explained that the security services moved immediately upon receiving the report, where they began investigation and monitoring procedures, and were able to track down the wanted person and arrest him. He was placed in custody to complete the legal procedures and refer him to the competent authorities.
