A qat farm worker was killed in mysterious circumstances in a town in the southern Yemeni province of Al Dhale'e.
Local sources said that citizen Ahmed Junaid was found murdered in the guard room of the qat farm where he worked in Wadi Shamsan in the village of Ghoul Al-Dimah in the Maris area, north of Al-Dhale’.
The sources added that "Junaid" was found hanged with a rope, dangling from the guard room, amid suspicions that the incident was criminal.
Citizens called on the authorities to investigate the incident and disclose it to the public.
Sources indicated that Junaid hails from Al Hudaydah Governorate, western Yemen, and has lived in the area with his family for years.
