The Meteorology and Early Warning Center of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology warned farmers in high mountainous areas today, Wednesday, of the effects of low temperatures.
In its daily bulletin, the center called for taking the necessary precautions to protect agricultural crops. It also called on citizens, especially children and the elderly, to exercise caution due to the cold weather during the night and early morning.
In a related context, the center warned fishermen and seafarers on the western coasts and the Red Sea of rough seas and strong winds, which may reach speeds of 30 knots in Bab al-Mandab and the south of the western coasts, which may pose a danger to maritime navigation.
The center indicated that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy on the southern and eastern coasts with light to moderate winds, while the desert and plateau areas will have dry and stable weather.
The Meteorological Center renewed its call to adhere to the issued instructions and warnings, stressing the importance of taking precautions to avoid any potential damage resulting from weather changes.
