Yemen: Meteorology expects cold weather in the highlands and scattered rains on some coasts

The Meteorology and Early Warning Center of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology expected, on Saturday, that the weather during the coming hours will be moderate during the day and cold during the night and early morning in the coastal areas and nearby areas, with the possibility of scattered rain on the Socotra Archipelago and the western coasts, and moderate to active winds.

According to the center's daily bulletin, dry, cold to very cold weather is expected, especially during the night and early morning, with the possibility of fog and stratus clouds forming in some areas, and chances of scattered rain in the western highlands.

The center called on citizens to take the necessary precautions due to low temperatures, especially children and the elderly, noting the possibility of low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog, which requires caution while driving.

He warned of the impact of the severe cold on agricultural crops, urging farmers to take appropriate measures. He also called on fishermen and seafarers to exercise caution, especially in the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea, where the sea is expected to be moderate to rough.
