Meteorology warns of very cold weather and calls on farmers to take precautions

The Meteorological Forecasting and Early Warning Center warned, on Thursday, of very cold weather during the next 24 hours, calling on farmers to take precautions to protect their property.

In a statement, the center warned citizens, especially the elderly and children in mountainous areas, of the extremely cold weather at night and early morning.

He urged farmers, livestock breeders and beekeepers in mountainous areas to take precautions to protect their property from the drop in temperatures.

The center warned fishermen and ship captains around the Socotra Archipelago, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the eastern, southern and western coasts, Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea of high waves and strong winds.
