Revealing the start of the second phase of negotiations in the Gaza agreement on Monday in Doha, in the presence of mediators

Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper reported that mediators in Egypt and Qatar conveyed an angry message to the occupation government regarding its approach to dealing with the ceasefire agreement, and its deliberate obstruction of it from time to time.
The mediators in Cairo and Doha conveyed a message confirming the difficulty of completing the fulfillment of the pledges of the prisoner deal, in light of the Israeli positions that are nitpicking and looking for excuses to thwart the agreement from time to time, in light of the efforts exerted by the mediators to overcome obstacles and address the shortcomings that could lead to the disruption of the release of Israeli and Palestinian prisoners.

According to sources familiar with the details of the mediation, the mediators in Cairo asked the technical teams supervising the implementation of the agreement’s requirements to take into account the special requirements for securing the sites for handing over prisoners inside the Gaza Strip, as well as not to overdo the sighting of weapons inside the Strip in order to block the way for extremists in Netanyahu’s government.
