US airstrikes have resumed on suspected Houthi militia positions in Sana'a and Hajjah governorates, amid reports of civilian deaths and injuries.
The Houthi militia recorded 19 airstrikes on various areas in Sana'a and Hajjah governorates.
Houthi media reported on Monday that US fighter jets launched two airstrikes on Bani Qais district in Hajjah governorate, leaving two dead and one injured.
Yesterday evening, militia media reported that US warplanes had launched four raids on the Jadr area in Bani al-Harith district, north of the capital, Sana'a. They then announced that one person had been killed and four others injured in raids on the village of al-Qabil in the same district.
Later on Sunday evening, Houthi media reported that US warplanes targeted the Al-Malikah area with eight airstrikes and the Sarf area with five airstrikes, in the Bani Hashish district of Sana'a governorate, without further details.
Over the past few days, the United States has intensified its airstrikes on Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen as part of a broader campaign announced by the White House on March 15 aimed at halting Houthi threats to international shipping.
