The terrorist Houthi militia recorded 16 US airstrikes in the early hours of Eid al-Adha on its positions in the Saada and Sana'a governorates (northern Yemen). This comes two weeks after the US campaign that began in the middle of this month.

Houthi media reported that US warplanes launched 13 raids on various locations in Saada governorate, including six raids in Kitaf district, four in Al Salem, two in Al Asaid, five raids east of the city, and two raids on Sahar city.

In Sana'a Governorate, the militia reported three airstrikes near Mount Nabi Shu'ayb in Bani Matar District.

As usual, the militia did not disclose the nature of the targeted sites or their results. However, informed sources confirmed that the targeted sites, particularly those in Kitaf, contain military facilities and underground bases used by the group to conceal its advanced military capabilities and store and launch ballistic missiles and drones. Meanwhile, the targeted sites in Bani Matar are expected to house communications centers, jamming systems, radars, and guidance platforms, according to the Defense Line platform, which focuses on military and security affairs.

On March 15, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered his country's military to launch a "major offensive" against the Houthi group in Yemen, with the aim of eliminating threats to international navigation, before threatening to "completely eliminate the Houthis."
