Today, Saturday, the commander of the Third Military Region, Major General Mansour Thawabeh, considered the Houthi militias’ targeting of the Safer oil facility an escalation in continuation of their approach to destroying Yemen’s infrastructure and capabilities.
This came during his inspection of the Safer oil facility in Ma'rib Governorate, after it was subjected to a terrorist attack attempt by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia, according to the Armed Forces Media Center.
Major General Thawabeh listened to the results of the terrorist attack launched by the terrorist Houthi militia on the vital facility at dawn on Friday, using three "winged" suicide drones loaded with highly explosive materials, from those responsible for protecting the Safer facility.
He said, "The Houthi terrorist gang's targeting of the Safer oil facility, one of the most important vital facilities for oil and gas production, is an escalation that is not surprising for a militia that has pursued destruction and devastation of Yemen's infrastructure and capabilities."
The commander of the Third Military Region stressed that this terrorist militia has no project other than destruction, killing, demolition, sabotage, impoverishment and starvation of the Yemenis.
He also stressed that restoring security and stability in Yemen depends on uprooting this criminal gang that is continuing its crimes day after day.
Major General Thawaba said that the heroes of the armed forces are ready to defend the homeland and end this criminal militia, and are fully prepared and combat ready to respond to such terrorist acts that target the interests of the Yemeni people and their sovereign economic facilities.
While waiting for the false Houthi response to the Zionist bombing of the port of Hodeidah last July, a month of alleged propaganda noise passed, and the bombing of the #Safer oil facility in Marib was the promised brutal Houthi response, as usual.#Marib_is_not_Israel_Oh_Houthi pic.twitter.com/wE5G4PL0B2

On Friday evening, the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff said in a statement that "the terrorist Houthi group, supported by the Iranian regime, targeted the Safer oil facility in Ma'rib Governorate at dawn on Friday, with three winged suicide drones carrying highly explosive materials in a cowardly terrorist attempt to destroy this vital civilian facility."
The statement added that "with the help of God Almighty, these aircraft were shot down before achieving their criminal goals," explaining that the information shows that these hostile aircraft were launched from a point located between the areas of Dahidha and Qarn Al-Suayri, east of the city of Al-Hazm in Al-Jawf Governorate, which is under the control of the enemy.
The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff confirmed the readiness of the armed forces to respond to such actions that target the interests of the Yemeni people and their sovereign economic facilities.
There is no explanation for the Houthi militia targeting the Safer National Oil Production and Exploration Company facility - despite the halt in exports and in light of the truce and roadmap discussions - other than the dominance of the Houthi criminal destructive tendency towards all the people's capabilities, and the group's inability to stop, even temporarily, targeting Yemenis and their interests. pic.twitter.com/yvjRyiETEd
