Marib...a massive women's demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the crime of assassinating "Ismail Haniyeh"

On Saturday evening, the city of Ma'rib (northeastern Yemen) witnessed a massive women's march in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the crimes of genocide committed by the Zionist occupation forces against civilians in Gaza, and their assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas", the martyr Ismail Haniyeh.

The massive march, in which thousands of Ma'rib women and those displaced to the governorate participated, moved through the main streets of the city, raising Palestinian and national flags, and pictures of the martyr Ismail Haniyeh.

The participants chanted slogans praising the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the heroism of their valiant resistance, and others denouncing the genocidal war committed by the Israeli occupation forces, amid silence and disappointment from the major powers and the international community.

The march statement stressed that the assassination of the militant political leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, in a brutal criminal operation, embodies the ugly criminal face of the occupying Zionist entity, which contradicts all international, humanitarian and diplomatic norms and laws.

The women expressed their condemnation "in the strongest terms of the criminal terrorist act, which expresses the state of weakness and defeat that the enemy is suffering from on the battlefield in proud Gaza, so that he resorts to these treacherous methods in order to achieve a false achievement with which to amuse himself and raise his depressed morale."

The statement said, "Such cowardly operations will not achieve victory for him. Rather, they will push the Palestinians, especially the people of the Gaza Strip, to insist and continue on the path of dignity and pride. Commander Abu Al-Abd will be succeeded by a thousand Hamas sons, and the path of jihad and resistance will continue until victory, God willing."

The demonstrators stressed that the responsibility for the assassination of the martyr Haniyeh “does not lie with the entity of treachery and treason alone; rather, it is shared by all those who provide them with weapons and support. Rather, they honor the head of this gang, who was condemned by the international courts and bodies and considered him a war criminal. Then he was summoned in America’s largest strongholds to lecture the world.” About civilization and humanity.

The women of Ma'rib called on "the international community, with all its institutions and bodies, to work seriously and effectively in enforcing international laws, and to quickly take punitive measures against the Israeli occupation as a result of its repeated violations against the Palestinian people."

The march statement stressed the need for the International Court of Justice to move quickly and immediately to implement the decisions issued against war criminals and genocide, and to transparently investigate the heinous crime of assassination of Commander Haniyeh.
