On Independence Day, the National Bloc calls for drawing inspiration from the spirit of struggle to face challenges and restore the state

The National Bloc of Political Parties and Components called on the Yemeni people across the country to celebrate the 57th anniversary of Independence Day on November 30.

In a statement on the occasion of Independence Day, he called on all political and societal forces to draw inspiration from the spirit of struggle and sacrifice embodied in the anniversary of independence to confront current challenges, and to work hand in hand to restore the state, end the Houthi coup, and achieve our people's aspirations for security, stability, progress, and prosperity.

The bloc urged efforts to be made alongside the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to alleviate the suffering of our Yemeni people in order to achieve economic recovery and provide services to citizens throughout the country.

The National Bloc of Political Parties and Components saluted the great Yemeni people on the anniversary of national independence, and said that it embodied the highest meanings of struggle and liberation from the British occupation, and forced them to leave our pure land on November 30, 1967.

He explained that on this immortal national occasion, he proudly recalls the sacrifices of the heroes who gave their lives and blood for the sake of independence and in defense of the dignity and sovereignty of their homeland, pledging to move forward to achieve the goals of the Yemeni revolutions, represented in building a state of law and institutions that guarantee dignity and justice for all its citizens - the federal civil state.

The National Bloc affirmed its adherence to the principles of the September and October revolutions, which represent the pillars of building the modern state and its foundation, which are citizenship, the rule of law, democracy, human rights, and social justice, and working to restore the state, eliminate the coup, end internal divisions, reject violence and sectarianism, and spread the culture of tolerance and coexistence.
