Yemen..The National Bloc of Parties stresses the importance of investing in international transformations and supporting military efforts to liberate and end the coup

The Supreme Council of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components stressed the importance of investing in international shifts in positions towards Yemen and the region in confronting Iran's arms, stressing support for military efforts to liberate all occupied areas from the terrorist Houthi militia.

This came in a statement issued by the Council following its first meeting of the new year, which was held yesterday, Sunday, and discussed the latest developments in the national situation, and determining priorities to confront the Houthi terrorist militia coup and restore state institutions.

According to the statement, the meeting addressed the repercussions of the economic collapse and its tragic impact on the lives of citizens, who are suffering from the worsening corruption and the rise of Houthi terrorism. The attendees also discussed the militia's violations of the fragile truce, which resulted in civilian and military casualties, reiterating the need to support military efforts to liberate all areas still under the control of the Iranian-backed Houthis.

The National Bloc renewed its full commitment to work side by side with all national forces to restore the Yemeni state and build a homeland that achieves the people's aspirations for a dignified and secure life.

At the opening of the meeting, the Chairman of the Council, Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher, reviewed the movements and meetings held by the presidency of the bloc with various official levels during the past period. He touched on the recent government reforms that focused on activating the role of oversight institutions, such as the Supreme Tenders Committee and the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption, stressing that these steps represent the beginning of restoring the prestige of the state and upholding the rule of law.

Dr. Abdullah Awbal, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the bloc, also presented a detailed report on the performance of the committee during the past period, in which he highlighted the efforts made to formulate the political program of the bloc, which reflects a clear vision to confront current challenges, and constitutes a roadmap for the next stage, according to the statement.
