The Popular Resistance Council in Al-Masrakh District, Taiz Governorate, announced its readiness to participate in the battle to complete the liberation of the homeland, restore the state, and end the terrorist Houthi militia's coup.
This came during a massive public event organized by the council on Sunday, under the auspices and supervision of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, with a large attendance of resistance leaders and figures, as well as popular supporters.
In a speech on behalf of the directorate, Sheikh Yahya Ismail, the director general of the directorate and head of the local council, praised the efforts of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance to unite ranks and mobilize energies to support the army in its efforts to retake the state.
Ismail stressed the need to put aside all minor disagreements and work to unify the republican ranks for the greater project of completing the liberation and ending the dark Houthi era.
For its part, the Popular Resistance Council in Al-Masrakh District, in a speech delivered by Sheikh Mahmoud Hassan Al-Sabai, affirmed its readiness to continue the struggle until the state is restored and the Houthi coup is defeated. It also thanked the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance and its leader, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, for his efforts in championing the national cause.
Al-Sabai said: "Al-Masrakh, along with the rest of the valiant Taiz districts, represented epics of victory and sacrifice, and taught the world the meaning of dignity through its resistance struggle and its heroic sons in the battle against the coup militia yesterday."
He added, "Today, it renews its pledge and oath to struggle and resist until the end of the authority of the terrorist Imamate coup and its aggression against the Yemeni people, its theft of our state's institutions, and its usurpation of the Yemeni identity and the name of the Yemeni state. It is innocent of it, for it is merely a thief who attacked our state's gains while we were unaware."
In turn, Taiz Resistance Council member Abdulwadud Al-Sabai affirmed the readiness to complete the liberation battle and restore the Yemeni state, calling for unifying ranks and mobilizing energies to achieve victory and end the terrorist Houthi militia's coup.
The statement emphasized support for the legitimate leadership's efforts to unify national forces, warning against complacency at this crucial stage, and praising the role of the local authorities and the national army in strengthening national resilience.
For his part, Taiz Axis spokesman Colonel Abdul Basit Al-Bahr said that the popular resistance is a backbone, support, and backstop for the army. It is a genuine national component of the Yemeni people and had the honor of starting the confrontation with the Houthi militia.
He added that the Al-Masrakh Directorate bore the brunt of the sacrifices and is a strong supporter of the various national fronts, and that its men have made great and extensive struggles. He noted that the level of public awareness in Al-Masrakh is high.
He also thanked the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, praising its efforts in enhancing the Popular Resistance's readiness to support the national army.
The event also honored Sheikh Saif Yahya Al-Sabai, who sacrificed three of his sons, three of his brothers, and four of his nephews as martyrs in the national battle, the Battle of Dignity, in defense of Taiz against the Houthi coup militia.
The demonstrators chanted slogans for the homeland and affirmed their determination to continue on the path of dignity and restore the state. They also raised the Palestinian flag and condemned the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the people of Gaza, affirming that the Palestinian resistance will triumph over the occupation and that the great sacrifices in Gaza will result in victory for the Palestinian cause.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge to continue the struggle and adhere to popular resistance until victory is achieved, by completing the liberation of the homeland, restoring the state, and ending the terrorist Houthi militia's coup.
