The National Bloc of Parties stresses the need to find quick solutions to the economic deterioration and alleviate the suffering of citizens

The Supreme Council of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components affirmed its readiness to support all political efforts through the forces within its framework, and to support the state and its various agencies in finding practical and rapid solutions to the current crises, in a way that alleviates the suffering of the Yemeni people and restores hope for stability.

The Supreme Council of the bloc discussed, during an extraordinary meeting held on Tuesday, headed by Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher, Chairman of the Supreme Council, the current situation in the country, in light of the economic deterioration and the continued collapse of the value of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies.

According to the press release issued by the meeting, the Supreme Council of the National Bloc confirmed that these crises have burdened the Yemeni citizen and increased his suffering, in light of the collapse of basic services such as electricity, water, education and health, which has deepened the humanitarian crisis in various governorates.

He approved sending a letter to His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and the members of the Council, including a request to hold an urgent meeting to discuss the current situation.

The National Bloc stressed the importance of proceeding with the formation of national oversight bodies to combat corruption, calling for the necessity of completing investigations into corruption cases and holding accountable all those proven guilty, to ensure strengthening the prestige of the state and restoring confidence in its institutions.

The Council stressed that the current stage requires everyone to shoulder their responsibilities and work with a common national spirit to address the economic and humanitarian crises, in a way that meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people, achieves stability and development, and strengthens our national position in confronting the terrorist Houthi militia.
