Ronaldo's earnings estimates from his new YouTube channel

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi club Al-Nassr, launched his official channel on YouTube to showcase the most prominent moments of his life on and off the field.

The number of subscribers to the channel reached more than 27.5 million within 48 hours. The Don's move comes after the launch of his brand of underwear and perfumes.

According to the Thinkfic website, which specializes in social media earnings, a YouTube content creator can earn between $2 and $12 for every thousand views on the platform, and for every million views, he can earn between $1,200 and $6,000.

With tens of millions of views to his name, Ronaldo would make a fortune before even considering ad rates. Advertisers pay a set rate to YouTube, with the content creator or channel owner taking 45% and the platform itself taking the other 55%.

All of his videos, within 48 hours, garnered more than 104 million views, meaning Ronaldo's earnings would be a huge amount from advertising money alone, with the smallest video garnering 2.8 million.

Ronaldo's social media pages and accounts - including his YouTube channel - published his celebration with his family of the golden shield after his official channel reached more than one million subscribers in 90 minutes. It is expected that Ronaldo will soon receive the shield designated for channels that have more than 50 million subscribers.
