The Association of Families of Martyrs and Wounded in Taiz held a large festival entitled “Syria was liberated today, and Yemen will be liberated tomorrow.” This is an appropriate and interesting sign for those who seize opportunities and respond to popular challenges.

In Local Authority Law No. 4 of 2000 and its amendments in 2008, important duties fall on the shoulders of the governors of the provinces in normal circumstances, and these tasks and duties become more severe in situations of war and siege, as has been the case in Taiz for ten years.

The resistance was and still is the sole guarantor of the cohesion of the national position, and the unity of the free and those opposed to mortgaging. It did not leave the field, nor did it leave the trenches empty of weapons and fighters. It is proceeding with certain determination and great strength, to expand the scope of the confrontation with the enemies lurking for the state, the republic, and national unity.

On the twenty-sixth anniversary, the debates stop, the grudges end, the dynasties are shackled, and Taiz stands on its feet with the pride of a giant and the strength of a revolutionary, dyed with the colors of the flag, crowned with the glories of the republic, protected by the awareness of its sons, their longing for dignity, their suckling of pride, and their chants that teach the world the alphabet of struggle.
