Arab and regional countries have expressed their support for Syria in its battle against Assad's remnants after they carried out armed ambushes targeting security forces in the Sahel region, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.

The Turkish Religious Foundation launched a relief campaign in Yemen under the slogan “The Believers Are But Brothers” to support families in need and affected by the war in the country.

Today, Thursday, the Anatolia residential and service complex was opened to accommodate displaced people, war wounded and people with special needs in the Sweida camp, Al-Mil area, north of the city of Marib, northeastern Yemen.

On Tuesday, Emine Erdogan, the wife of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, hosted Latifa al-Droubi, the wife of Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, on the sidelines of the latter's visit to the Turkish capital, Ankara.

The new Syrian administration, headed by Ahmed al-Sharaa, is taking rapid steps towards strengthening Damascus’ foreign relations at the regional and international levels, in line with Syria’s strategic position in the region, which places it on the intersection of regional circles of influence between Turkey and the Arab world, including Saudi Arabia.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the Arab and Islamic world to support the new Syrian leadership, saying the Syrian people now have the will to decide their own future.
