While the world's children celebrate their international day, their counterparts in the Gaza Strip are living under the Israeli genocide that has been ongoing for more than a year, which has imposed an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe on them, between killing, displacement, starvation and the loss of the most basic rights of childhood.

The 154-page report, “Desperate, Hungry, and Trapped,” examines Israel’s forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza, and the behavior of Israeli authorities that has led to the displacement of more than 90 percent of Gaza’s population—1.9 million Palestinians—and the widespread destruction of large parts of Gaza over the past 13 months.

The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" confirmed on Sunday that the occupation is using the weapon of starvation and thirst against the people of the Gaza Strip by preventing food, water and medicine, in light of the ongoing genocide for more than a year, as part of implementing the plan of its generals, calling for the formation of an Arab and Islamic alliance to enable the Palestinian people to obtain all their rights.

The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the Israeli occupation army has killed 1,800 Palestinians since the start of the genocide in the northern governorate a month ago, and has deliberately starved 100,000 children, noting that all hospitals are out of service.

36 Palestinians were killed, others were injured and a number of others are still missing, on Sunday, in Israeli raids on the Gaza and North governorates, while the Israeli army intensified its artillery shelling of areas in the south and center of the Strip.

The demonstration blessed the selection of leader Yahya Sinwar as head of the political bureau of Hamas, succeeding the martyr Ismail Haniyeh.
