Yemen Youth Net - Marib

Today, Friday, Ma'rib Governorate (northeastern Yemen) witnessed a massive demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in denunciation of the destructive war waged by the occupation on the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
The demonstration, in which thousands participated, blessed the selection of leader Yahya Sinwar as head of the political bureau of Hamas, succeeding the martyr Ismail Haniyeh, considering the interaction of the Arab and Islamic masses to be an expression of their great confidence in Sinwar as a political leader and a steadfast resistance fighter in a critical and sensitive phase and a very complex local, regional and international situation.
The demonstration statement condemned the barbaric statements made by the Israeli Finance Minister regarding the starvation of civilians in the Gaza Strip, as the deliberate starvation of civilians constitutes a full-fledged war crime, and with this statement the occupation proves to the world once again its contempt for international law and all the basic rules and principles of humanity.
The statement called on the international community and influential countries to exert real pressure on war criminals and to urgently deliver humanitarian aid to all areas of the besieged Gaza Strip, renewing the call to the Yemeni people who have long been in solidarity with the Palestinian people to continue providing aid by all available means and methods and through various possible mechanisms.
The demonstration strongly condemned the Israeli occupation's hysterical targeting of schools and displacement centers, stressing that the continuation of this terrorist behavior and criminal conduct by the Israeli occupation requires the international community and leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to assume their responsibilities towards it, by working seriously to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
She also stressed that the illusions of submission and subjugation that haunt the head of the criminal Netanyahu and his henchmen have failed and will turn into destruction for his fragile entity and defeated army.
The demonstrators highly appreciated the decisions of the International Court of Justice issued two weeks ago regarding the crime of settlement, stressing that the entire entity is illegitimate from the beginning, but was created as a result of massacres, slaughters and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people for more than 75 years.
The statement stressed that the decisions of the International Court of Justice need real will and strong action to implement them on the ground, starting with imposing a boycott on the entity and ending with holding accountable and punishing its leaders responsible for the genocide and unjust war, especially since this deterrent measure is the shortest way to prevent the expansion of war in the inflamed region.
The statement concluded with a salute to all Palestinian resistance factions that were and still are up to the responsibility after they appeared united as one man in the most testing and bitterest moments, calling on them to further unite in the face of the unjust war, until the Israeli occupation is defeated and the establishment of the desired Palestinian state is declared.
With American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 131,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
In contempt of the international community, Tel Aviv continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
