The Israeli army continues its military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, especially in the Jabalia camp and the town of Beit Lahia, since October 6, and imposes a strict siege that prevents the entry of food, water, medicine and fuel, which has caused the famine to worsen.

In Gaza City, a medical source told an Anadolu Agency correspondent that a Palestinian was killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted Salah al-Din School, which houses displaced people in the vicinity of Palestine Stadium in the city.

The same source added that "two Palestinians were killed and several others were injured when a house belonging to the Zaqout family was targeted in Al-Nafaq Street in Gaza City."

The Israeli army intensified its artillery shelling of the Sabra, Tal al-Hawa and al-Zeitoun neighborhoods in the south of Gaza City, amid heavy and continuous gunfire from Israeli vehicles towards homes in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, according to eyewitnesses to the Anadolu Agency correspondent.

In the central governorate, Israeli helicopters bombed a house in the Mufti land, west of the Nuseirat camp, which led to a large fire, according to a source in the Civil Defense Service to Anadolu.

Eyewitnesses told the Anadolu Agency correspondent that intermittent Israeli artillery shelling took place in the central Gaza Strip, focusing on the north of the Bureij camp and the northwest of the Nuseirat camp, while an Israeli warship fired its machine guns towards the Nuseirat beach.

Israeli gunboats also opened fire towards the shore of Al-Qarara Sea, northwest of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

In the far south of the Strip, Israeli vehicles bombed the vicinity of the Shakoush and Al-Mawasi coastal areas west of Rafah city and the Al-Janina neighborhood east of the city, while warplanes launched multiple raids in various areas in Rafah, according to eyewitnesses to Anadolu Agency.

Palestinians were injured in shelling that targeted homes in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah, according to Palestinian paramedics who spoke to the Anadolu Agency correspondent.

With American support, Israel has been waging a genocide on Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 143,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and elderly people.

Tel Aviv continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
