Meta has agreed to pay $25 million to settle a lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump against the company after it suspended his accounts following the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, according to three people familiar with the matter.

Meta’s Oversight Board said Wednesday that the use of the slogan “From the river to the sea,” a slogan often shared by pro-Palestinian users, does not violate the company’s content policies. The board said the phrase, which many repeat in support of Palestine, does not violate Meta’s rules on hate speech or violence.
