Marib Police Clarify Circumstances of Lifting Wounded Gathering and Deny Circulating Allegations

Ma'rib Governorate Police confirmed that what was circulated on social media platforms regarding the removal of the wounded included distortion and falsification of the security measures that were implemented during their transfer.

She explained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Department that some parties are trying to exploit the issue to undermine the security services, stressing that the wounded were treated with all respect and appreciation.

The police indicated that an agreement was reached with the wounded to transfer the remaining number of them to their homes, in order to ensure that their demands are not exploited, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances that the governorate is going through.

She also stressed that the issue of the wounded is everyone's issue, and that the security services stand by them in their legitimate rights, denying any allegations of detention or assault of any wounded person.
