"Security Preparation and Excellence"... Marib Special Security Forces Launch Training Year for Its Members

The Assistant Director General of the Governorate Police, Brigadier General Yahya Al-Akwa, stressed the importance of continuous qualitative training and development of security performance and members of the security and police, in a manner that keeps pace with the development of crime tools, and ensuring preemption with modern means and advanced technology.

This came during the launch of the Special Security Forces Branch Command in Marib Governorate, today, of the 2025 training year for its members, under the slogan (Security Preparation and Excellence).

Al-Akwa praised the security achievements made by the Special Security Forces in the governorate over the past years, and their vital role in combating organized crime, thwarting many sabotage and terrorist plots, and enhancing security, stability, order and law.

He pointed out that the female element in security work represented a qualitative addition to the security performance in the governorate, and the distinguished role in thwarting many of the sabotage and terrorist plans of the female cells that the Houthi militia tried to use to carry out many intelligence, sabotage and logistical missions.

The commander of the Special Security Forces in the province, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Sabri, stressed in his speech that the Special Security Forces represent the first line of defense in combating crime and confronting sabotage and terrorist plots, and a fundamental pillar in maintaining security, order and law, which contributes to building the country's future and its prosperity.

Al-Sabry reviewed a number of security achievements made by the governorate's special security forces during the past year.
