Soon the fog of Iranian ideology that has taken on the Palestinian keffiyeh will clear

Perhaps we should not dwell on the questions that will be raised about the military situation of Hezbollah, as the issue does not lie here, but rather in what the coming days will bring in terms of the results of the agreement that led to the ceasefire between it and Israel, especially the paragraphs included in the agreement related to dismantling Hezbollah’s military structures, and those that gave Israel a free hand to intervene militarily in the event of any attempt to rebuild Hezbollah’s military capabilities.

What can be focused on from the rubble left behind by the military confrontation, and the negative positions of the Iranian regime that accompanied it towards the liquidations that the so-called “Axis of Resistance” system, especially Hezbollah, was subjected to, and the agreements that the situation led to, is that this project that Iran designed and financed to serve its strategic interests aimed at establishing itself as a regional power that is taken into account internationally, alongside Israel, has come to an end.

It must be recalled that there is a link in the project that Iran is betting on, which is to cling to the Houthis as an alternative equivalent, which it will cling to and maneuver with, which is what the project’s militias concluded in their discussions some time ago, by turning Yemen into a logistical base to compensate for the dynamics and components of the project that it lost in other important areas, by focusing and re-injecting the capabilities and experts of Hezbollah and other militias into the areas of Houthi influence in Yemen.

The assessment based on the belief that breaking Hezbollah in Lebanon will have a negative impact on the Houthis in Sana’a requires a re-reading of the scene in light of some data, little of which has emerged so far, but which is extremely important for re-evaluating the results in a realistic manner.

In general, the destruction of the so-called “Axis of Resistance” project is not a victory for Israel, neither near nor far, because it was originally established only for a specific purpose, which is to enable Iran to become a regional power, sharing influence with Israel in the Middle East. This is an issue that does not require a military confrontation between them, as much as it requires understandings that they will inevitably reach when the fog of Iranian ideology disguised as the Palestinian keffiyeh clears, which was necessary to justify the blatant interference in the internal affairs of many Arab countries to mobilize and recruit sectarian militias in the manner that the region has witnessed during the last two decades of its political history.

That is, the fate that the “Axis of Resistance” has reached is due to the corruption of the goal for which the project was implanted in the body of the Arab nation-state in many Arab countries.

All that Israel did was destroy cities, kill civilians, and wreak havoc throughout Gaza and the land of the “homeland of the stars,” Lebanon, from Naqoura and Baalbek in the south to Tripoli in the north, passing through Beirut. It did not witness a single military victory. Just as the Iranian version of the “Axis of Resistance” project fell, Israel’s military machinery fell at the hands of young children in a scene that history will record as the foolish force being brought down by the will of a child clinging to his natural right to life, and that the other force that made that foolishness a cover for its ambitions gave birth to nothing but the myth of “resistance” that drowned the real resistance in a sea of sectarian militias that made it lose its way to establishing its state.
