The Israeli occupation army storms Nablus and continues its aggression on Jenin and Tulkarm

The Israeli army stormed the old town of Nablus in the northern West Bank at dawn on Monday and confiscated a vehicle, as it continues its military operation in the Jenin and Tulkarm camps since January 21.

This came as part of a series of raids carried out by the Israeli army in cities and towns in the West Bank, during which a number of Palestinians were arrested, without knowing the number.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that Israeli forces stormed the city of Nablus from several directions, and raided and searched Palestinian homes.

They pointed out that the operation was concentrated in the old city of Nablus, where the forces confiscated a Palestinian vehicle before withdrawing.

On Sunday, the Israeli army carried out a military operation in Nablus that lasted for several hours, resulting in the injury of 14 Palestinians, including an elderly man and 4 children.

Meanwhile, settlers carried out an attack on the towns of Duma and Jurish, south of Nablus, at dawn on Monday, and threw stones at homes and vehicles, damaging a number of them, according to local sources .

This comes as the Israeli aggression continues in Jenin and its camp, north of the West Bank, for the 28th consecutive day, and in the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 22nd day, while an aggression began about 9 days ago on the Nour Shams camp east of the city.

The aggression launched by the Israeli army on January 21st in the northern West Bank left 55 martyrs until Monday morning, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, in addition to the displacement of thousands and widespread destruction of property, homes and infrastructure.

Since the start of the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers have expanded their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the killing of at least 916 Palestinians, the injury of about 7,000, and the arrest of 14,500 others, according to official Palestinian data.

With American support, between October 7, 2023 and January 19, 2025, Israel committed genocide in Gaza, leaving about 160,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
