The Israeli occupation army committed a new massacre, killing 73 martyrs in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, in continuation of the crimes of genocide against the Palestinians that have been ongoing since the new wave 15 days ago.

The government media in Gaza said, "The number of martyrs in the Beit Lahia massacre has risen to 73 martyrs, and dozens of wounded and missing, most of them children and women, after residential areas crowded with safe residents were bombed from the air."

He added in a statement, "The Israeli occupation army continues the war of ethnic cleansing, eradication and genocide in a clear manner, this time in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip governorate."

Al Jazeera correspondent Anas Al Sharif said on the X platform, "The Israeli occupation army committed a horrific massacre in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip governorate by bombing residential areas crowded with residents, most of whom were women and children."

He added: "The Israeli occupation aircraft completely destroyed a residential area that included dozens of displaced families, including the Al-Sharif family, the Obaid family, and the Al-Dariwi family."

For his part, the spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip told Al Jazeera, "The occupation forces targeted a residential square in the Beit Lahia project with a belt of fire, and are deliberately killing Palestinians and destroying homes and infrastructure to displace Palestinians."

He added: "The occupation targets everyone who moves in Jabalia, even ambulances. It has declared it a military zone and targets everyone who moves in it. Anyone who wants to go out to secure food is killed."

This comes on the fifteenth day of the war of extermination and starvation that the Israeli army continues in northern Gaza, and hours after the Israeli occupation cut off communications and the Internet from the region.

Kamal Adwan Hospital Director said, "There are more than 50 people under the rubble, and injuries are being reported around the clock, and what the World Health Organization is providing is only enough for one day."

He added: "The quantities we are being supplied with are limited and are only sufficient for a few days, and a safe and permanent corridor must be opened to provide medical aid."

Arab silence encouraged the commission of massacres

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said, "The Zionist enemy committed a brutal massacre targeting a residential area crowded with residents and displaced persons in the Beit Lahia project."

She added in a brief statement, "The Arab silence and international failure encouraged the enemy to commit more crimes and massacres to empty the northern Gaza Strip of its residents."

She called on Arab and Islamic countries and the United Nations to take action to stop this holocaust because its repercussions on the security of the region are great.

For its part, the Fatah movement called on Saturday evening for an “immediate and comprehensive” Arab and international move to stop the ongoing massacre in the Gaza Strip at the hands of the Israeli occupation army.

“What is required now is immediate and comprehensive action at all levels, from all Arab and Islamic countries and the international community, to stop this ongoing massacre,” the movement’s spokesman, Abdel Fattah Dawla, said in a statement.

The same parties called for "taking urgent punitive measures against the criminals of the occupying state before they complete their plan to eliminate our people in Gaza, whether by killing, starvation or displacement."

She warned that "the Israeli occupation forces have turned Gaza into a pool of the blood of the Palestinian people by committing heinous massacres that have crossed all boundaries, targeting the areas of Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and the north and west of the Strip without stopping."

Fatah movement considered the international silence and the absence of any pressure action on the occupation to stop its crimes in Gaza as shameful and suspicious, as if the world accepts this crime and finds it easy to shed Palestinian blood without deterrence or serious action.
