The Israeli army announced today, Monday, the killing of 3 soldiers and the wounding of 12 others during battles in the Jabalia camp, while the occupation raids left 35 martyrs in the Gaza Strip since dawn today, Monday.

Channel 14 Israel said the dead were from the Givati Brigade, adding that 10 gunmen attacked an army force using rockets and automatic weapons while it was on leave.

Prior to the official announcement, Israeli media reported a "difficult and unusual event" that the Israeli army was exposed to in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, where resistance operations are continuing despite the massive bombing and destruction as part of the ongoing war of extermination there.

"The dead and wounded soldiers were on a truck loaded with explosives," the source said, adding that the truck exploded after a Palestinian gunman fired an anti-tank shell at it in Jabalia.

Al-Aqsa TV quoted the Israeli website "Lebanon Shetah Ish" as saying that the explosives in the truck were to be used to blow up houses in Jabalia.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli helicopters landed for the third time to evacuate the dead and wounded who fell in the operation.

Earlier today, Israeli media reported the death of two soldiers in a preliminary toll of the difficult event in Jabalia.

Last Thursday evening, the Israeli army acknowledged the death of 32 of its soldiers since the start of the large-scale military operation in the northern Gaza Strip on October 5, describing the toll as a heavy price.

Resistance operations

Meanwhile, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that it had bombed - in cooperation with the Al-Amoudi Brigade of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - the command and control headquarters of the Israeli occupation forces in the Netzarim axis, which separates the central Gaza Strip from its north.

The Brigades also announced that they had taken control of an Israeli suicide plane in the skies of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip before carrying out an offensive mission, and published footage of Israeli drones after taking control of them while carrying out intelligence missions in the city’s skies.

Al-Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fatah, also announced that it had bombed - in conjunction with the Al-Quds Brigades - the occupation's command and control headquarters in the vicinity of the Turkish hospital on the Netzarim axis with "107" missiles.

The battalions displayed - via the Telegram application - footage showing the targeting of a gathering of Israeli soldiers with missiles on the same axis.

In the same context, the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced that it had shelled the occupation's artillery positions in the Netzarim axis, south of Gaza City, with heavy mortar shells.

Dozens of martyrs

In developments of the aggression, medical sources told Al Jazeera that 35 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that a number of Palestinians were killed and injured as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted "Abu Hussein School", which houses displaced people in Jabalia camp.

He also reported that there were martyrs and wounded in an Israeli bombardment that targeted homes in the Beit Lahia project, not far from Jabalia.

For its part, Al-Aqsa TV said that 6 people were killed in the bombing that targeted the Beit Lahia project after they tried to return to their homes and check on them.

In the southern Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported the recovery of the bodies of 13 people who were killed in Israeli raids on various areas of Rafah city since this morning.

In Rafah, the occupation forces also blew up residential buildings in the city center. In Khan Yunis, a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike east of the city.

In the middle of the Gaza Strip, 4 people, including 3 children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike east of Al-Maghazi camp, while others were injured in shelling that targeted the camp.

The occupation forces also carried out intensive artillery shelling north of the Nuseirat camp, according to Palestinian sources. This shelling came as Israeli vehicles carried out a new incursion into the vicinity of the Bureij camp.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today that the occupation forces committed 3 new massacres in the Strip, resulting in 50 martyrs and 84 wounded arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours.

The ministry said that the death toll from the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has risen to 44,758 martyrs and 106,134 wounded.
