It also called on "the international community and the United Nations to form a specialized international investigation committee, enter the northern Gaza Strip, and reveal the nature of the ammunition used by the fascist occupation army that leads to these injuries and unknown cases, and the truth about the widespread violations of international laws it is committing against defenseless civilians."
The movement stressed in its statement that "the international community, the United Nations, and our Arab and Islamic countries are required today to stand up to their responsibilities, by stopping these violations and massacres that have been ongoing in the Gaza Strip for four hundred and twenty days, through which the occupation is challenging all laws, humanitarian values, and international political and judicial institutions."
She urged the speedy bringing of "war criminals" to account for their crimes against humanity.
Palestine warns of US silence
In this regard, the Palestinian presidency warned, on Saturday, of the American silence in the face of the continued Israeli war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, the starvation of citizens, and the establishment of buffer zones, with the aim of forcing residents to migrate forcibly from their homes and lands in northern Gaza.
Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said in statements carried by the official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, "The silence of the US administration on Israeli policy, and its provision of financial and military support, are what encouraged the Israeli occupation to continue with these crimes that are punishable by international law, and made the occupying state defy international will."
He called for "a serious and effective American position to force the occupying state to comply with international legitimacy resolutions and international law, and to stop its comprehensive war on our people, our land and our holy sites," stressing that "the region can no longer tolerate more of these aggressive Israeli policies, which lead to more tension and instability."
The presidential spokesman called on the UN Security Council to "implement its resolutions related to the Palestinian issue, the latest of which is Resolution No. (2735), regarding a ceasefire, the entry of aid into the entire Gaza Strip, the complete Israeli withdrawal from it, and enabling the State of Palestine to assume its full responsibilities in the Gaza Strip."
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 149,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
Israel continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
