On the 450th day of the aggression on Gaza, the occupation army continued to bomb several areas in the Strip, which led to the deaths of dozens of martyrs and wounded, while the Palestinian resistance announced two operations targeting Israeli soldiers in Jabalia, north of the Strip.

Al Jazeera quoted medical sources as saying that 30 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn on Sunday, 15 of them in the northern Gaza Strip. The sources reported that 7 Palestinians were killed and 20 others were injured in Israeli artillery shelling of homes in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation army had committed 3 massacres in the past 24 hours, resulting in 30 martyrs and 99 wounded arriving at hospitals, bringing the death toll from the Israeli aggression to 45,514 martyrs and 108,189 wounded since October 7, 2023.

In addition, the Palestinian Ministry of Health demanded the release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, and all medical personnel detained in Israeli prisons.

In a statement, the ministry condemned "the arrest and abuse of the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safia, by the Israeli occupation forces, considering it "another violation of human rights and the rights of workers in the health sector."

The ministry also considered in its statement "the assault on doctors and patients or their arrest because they are performing their humanitarian duty in serving citizens, a violation of all their human and professional rights."

The Ministry of Health called on international, health and human rights institutions to "immediately intervene to release Dr. Abu Safiya and the health cadres detained in the occupation's prisons," renewing its urgent appeals "to provide full protection to all health workers and allow them to perform their professional duties in a safe and secure environment."

The government media office in Gaza said yesterday, Saturday, that the Israeli occupation is causing a tragic humanitarian crisis that threatens the death of thousands of displaced people, after 110,000 tents were destroyed in conjunction with severe frost waves. It called for the immediate provision of basic needs.

The office's statement said: "Once again, the occupation is causing a new tragic humanitarian crisis that threatens the death of thousands of displaced people, after 81% of their tents were worn out, coinciding with the onset of winter and severe frost waves, as the displaced people live in harsh conditions that have caused the death of five cases in the past few days due to the severity of the cold and as a result of the occupation's destruction of the housing sector."

Rockets towards Israel

In addition, the occupation army said that it had detected 5 missiles launched from Gaza, two of which were intercepted by air defenses and a third fell in open areas.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that a rocket fell in the city of Sderot in the Gaza Strip, and the Israeli ambulance service said that its crews headed to the areas where sirens sounded to check for injuries.

The Israeli Home Front Command said earlier that sirens sounded in Sderot, Nir Am and other towns surrounding the Gaza Strip.

Channel 12 reported that the rockets were fired from Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, towards the Gaza envelope.

The Israeli police said they were dealing with three sites in the city of Sderot where rocket fragments fell.

In the context of the field battles in Gaza, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a highly explosive device, and a rescue force with a 105 Al-Yassin shell east of Jabalia Al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, said that it had blown up, in cooperation with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah movement, a house in which a number of Israeli soldiers were fortified east of the Jabalia camp.

The Israeli army announced the death of a soldier in battles north of the Gaza Strip, and a soldier was seriously injured in another incident north of Gaza.

The Israeli Army Radio revealed that 40 soldiers were killed in the recent operation in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli media reported that an Israeli soldier was killed in the Gaza battles. Israeli sources also reported that helicopters carried wounded soldiers from the Gaza battles, and landed in Beilinson and Tel Hashomer hospitals.

Yesterday, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced storming an Israeli military post in Jabalia, clashing with soldiers inside, and killing and wounding them.

On October 5, the Israeli army invaded the northern Gaza Strip again. The Palestinians say that Israel wants to occupy the area and turn it into a buffer zone, after displacing them from it under the pressure of bloody bombing and preventing the entry of food, water and medicine.

Last Sunday, the Israeli army announced that its forces had expanded the scope of their operations in the northern Gaza Strip, moving from Beit Lahia to the area west of Beit Hanoun.
