"The Hell Strategy" Military Expert: Trump Is Preparing Deterrence Tools for Iran Through Yemen

Military expert Brigadier General Elias Hanna said that US President Donald Trump is focusing on Iran in the context of the recent US military campaign in Yemen, noting that he is preparing deterrent tools in parallel with negotiations with it "in the shadow of fire."

In his analysis of the regional military landscape, Hanna explained that Iran remains the geopolitical target of the current US administration due to its involvement in several issues, such as the nuclear issue, drones and missiles, and support for proxies in the region.

According to the military expert, the US president is preparing to deter Iran, sending it messages through the Yemeni arena and striking the Houthis with a "hell strategy," while Israel benefits from all these developments.

He cited the recall of US aircraft carriers and the dispatch of strategic stealth bombers to the region, which are capable of penetrating approximately 70 meters of reinforced concrete, indicating that the target remains the Iranian nuclear project.

In a telephone interview with NBC, US President Donald Trump threatened Iran with "unprecedented bombardment" and the imposition of secondary tariffs if Tehran did not reach an agreement with Washington regarding its nuclear program.

In turn, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that his country had rejected direct negotiations with the United States in response to a letter from his American counterpart regarding Iran's nuclear program.

The military expert stressed that the Houthis were not deterred despite the US military campaign, attributing this to the human and geographical nature of Yemen.

But Hanna said at the same time that the Houthis are no longer what they once were, expressing his belief that the goal today is to weaken them.
