Official statistics reveal the results of 470 days of the war of extermination against the Gaza Strip

The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from 470 days of Israeli genocide since its outbreak more than 15 months ago has reached 46,960 martyrs, including 30,000 children and women.
The media office said in a statement on Tuesday that in "470 days of genocide, the occupation army committed 10,100 massacres in general, resulting in 61,182 martyrs and missing persons," explaining that "14,222 missing persons did not reach hospitals until January 18, 2025," and that the Ministry of Health recorded "46,960 martyrs who reached hospitals."
The office quoted the Ministry of Health as saying, "The occupation has wiped out and erased from the civil registry 2,092 Palestinian families, by killing the father, mother, and all family members. The number of members of these families is 5,967 martyrs."
He explained that "4,889 Palestinian families were annihilated by the occupation, leaving only one individual alive, and the number of members of these families exceeded 8,980 martyrs."
According to the government media, the number of "child martyrs reached 17,861," indicating that "214 infants were born and martyred during the genocide," while "808 children were martyred during the genocide while they were less than a year old."
He said that 44 people were killed due to malnutrition, food shortages and the (Israeli) starvation policy, and 8 were killed due to the severe cold in the tents of the displaced, including 7 children.
He revealed that "12,316 women were killed by the Israeli occupation," while "1,155 martyrs from the medical staff fell," according to what was reported from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
The office stated that "the Israeli occupation killed 94 civil defense personnel, 205 journalists and media professionals, while injuring 400 of them, and 736 aid security personnel and police."
In this regard, he revealed that the occupation committed "150 crimes targeting personnel, police, and aid providers."
According to the same statement, "the occupation established 7 mass graves inside hospitals, from which 520 martyrs were recovered."
In addition to the martyrs, the Israeli war left 110,725 wounded who arrived at hospitals, according to the Ministry of Health in the Strip.
The office indicated in its statement that "15,000 wounded people need long-term rehabilitation," indicating that the genocide "left behind 4,500 amputations, including 18 percent of children," stressing that "70 percent of the victims are children and women," and stating that "the Israeli occupation targeted 220 shelters and displacement centers."
He stressed that "only 10 percent of the area of the Gaza Strip was claimed by the Israeli occupation to be humanitarian areas," while the war left "38,495 children living without their parents or without one of them," according to the statement.
He added: "13,901 women also lost their husbands during the genocide."
In addition, there are "3,500 children at risk of death due to malnutrition and food shortages, and 12,700 wounded people who need to travel abroad for treatment," according to the statement.
The government office pointed out that "12,500 cancer patients are facing death and need treatment," and "3,000 patients with various diseases need treatment abroad."
According to the Ministry of Health figures, "two million, 136 thousand, and 26 cases were infected with infectious diseases as a result of displacement, including 71 thousand, 338 cases infected with viral hepatitis."
The office stated that "nearly 60,000 pregnant women are at risk due to the lack of health care," and that "350,000 chronic patients are at risk due to the occupation's prevention of the entry of medicines," saying that "6,600 cases have been arrested by the occupation from the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the genocidal war."
He reported that "360 cases of arrest of health personnel were recorded, as the occupation executed 3 doctors inside the prisons," and that "48 cases of arrest of journalists whose names were known" and "26 cases of arrest of civil defense personnel" were recorded.
The government office confirmed that "two million displaced persons were registered in the Gaza Strip", and that 110,000 tents had become worn out and unfit for the displaced.
He pointed out that "the Israeli occupation destroyed 216 government headquarters, 137 schools and universities completely", and 357 schools and universities partially, adding that "the Israeli occupation killed 12,800 male and female students during the war", while depriving 785,000 male and female students of education.
He stated that "the occupation killed 760 teachers and educational employees in the education sector during the war," while "150 scientists, academics, university professors and researchers were executed."
Regarding places of worship, the occupation "completely destroyed 823 mosques, and 158 mosques are in serious need of restoration," and targeted and destroyed 3 churches, according to the statement.
The occupation "destroyed 19 cemeteries completely or partially out of 60", "stole 2,300 bodies from the cemeteries of the Gaza Strip, 161,600 housing units completely, and 194,000 housing units partially, while leaving 82,000 housing units uninhabitable".
According to statistics from the Government Media Office, "the Israeli occupation dropped 100,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip," explaining that "34 hospitals and 80 health centers were burned, attacked, or put out of service by the occupation," and that "162 health institutions and 136 ambulances were targeted."
He added, "The Israeli occupation destroyed 206 archaeological and heritage sites, explaining that the occupation destroyed 3,680 kilometers of electricity networks, in addition to destroying 2,105 overhead and underground electricity distribution transformers.
The occupation destroyed 330 thousand linear meters of water networks, 655 linear meters of sewage networks, and 2,835 thousand linear meters of road and street networks, in addition to 42 facilities, playgrounds, sports halls, and 717 water wells, putting them out of service.
According to the statistics, "the percentage of destruction in the Gaza Strip reached 88 percent," while "the direct initial losses from the genocidal war were estimated at more than 38 billion dollars," according to the government media in Gaza.
