The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it targeted Israeli forces in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, while the Israeli occupation continues its genocide in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam said that it targeted two Israeli Merkava tanks at the Al-Radhi’ junction in the center of Beit Lahia, and another with a Shawaaz bomb west of Jabalia camp.

An Israeli troop carrier was also targeted with a Yassin 105 missile near the Tamraz station in the middle of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam added that it was able to snipe and kill two Israeli soldiers in Abu Al-Aish Street in the middle of Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - said that its fighters were able to snipe an Israeli soldier near the energy area east of Gaza City in the central Gaza Strip.

She added that it bombed with mortar shells gatherings of occupation soldiers and vehicles in the vicinity of Burj Awad intersection in Al-Janina neighborhood, east of Rafah.

Quality process

Al Jazeera channel broadcasted, on Wednesday, exclusive scenes documenting the fierce battles between the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), and the Israeli occupation army east of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to the footage, Qassam Brigades blew up an Israeli tank after preparing and planting a land explosive device, in addition to targeting a Merkava tank with an anti-tank Al-Yassin 105 shell.

On the sidelines of the IED planting operation, one of the Qassam fighters said, “The resistance elements are the men of Abu Anas al-Ghandour, the commander of the Northern Brigade in the Qassam Brigades,” and he considered the operation to be revenge for his soul.

Al-Qassam mourned four of its most prominent field leaders in late November 2023, including Ahmed Al-Ghandour, Wael Rajab, Raafat Salman, and Ayman Siam.

Qassam fighters also blew up a booby-trapped house with a pre-arranged warning from a special Israeli force that had infiltrated it, and the voice of one of the Qassam fighters was heard saying that all the occupation soldiers had been successfully killed.

The scenes also documented Qassam targeting an Israeli tank with a B29 shell, hitting it directly.

Siege and displacement

The Israeli army continues its aggression on the northern Gaza Strip, where the spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza told Al Jazeera that the occupation has displaced a large number of Palestinians from Beit Lahia against their will, through the siege and continuous bombardment.

For his part, the Director of Hospitals at the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip told Al Jazeera that more than 100 patients at Kamal Adwan Hospital are at risk of death.

He added that oxygen supplies stopped completely in the hospital after it was targeted by the Israeli occupation, which means the entire health service has stopped.

The director of hospitals also said that the Israeli occupation is preventing access to Al-Awda Hospital, and has targeted Kamal Adwan Hospital to force people to flee, adding that the northern areas of the Gaza Strip are being completely destroyed.

Three medical staff members were injured at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, when explosive bombs were dropped on the hospital from Quadcopter aircraft.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the hospital is still being subjected to artillery shelling and continuous gunfire by Israeli forces.

A number of Palestinians were killed and others were injured in Israeli shelling west of Gaza City, amid the ongoing genocide in the north of the Strip.

Eyewitnesses reported that displaced people were injured on Salah al-Din Street, north of the Strip, after being shot at by Israeli army vehicles and soldiers.

During 60 days of genocide and ethnic cleansing, more than 3,700 Palestinians were killed or missing in the northern Gaza Strip, in addition to about 10,000 injured and 1,750 arrested, according to the government media office on Monday.

Hamas said that the occupation's brutal bombing of Beit Lahia and Kamal Adwan Hospital and attempts to displace the residents are an insistence on the crime and the war of extermination.

Death toll rises

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 44,532 martyrs and 105,538 wounded since October 7.

She added that the Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 30 martyrs and 84 wounded people arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours.

The ministry indicated that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

With American support, Israel has been waging a genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, leaving behind about 11,000 missing people, in addition to the dead and wounded, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Israel continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
