Live footage from the release of Israeli prisoners by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, documented the moments when one of the prisoners kissed the head of a Palestinian fighter on the handover platform.
According to the footage circulated on Saturday, 3 Israeli prisoners appear on the delivery platform in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip before they are transferred to the Red Cross committee in the presence of the Qassam Brigades fighters.
The footage showed one of the prisoners approaching one of the Qassam fighters to kiss his head on the platform before waving his hands, expressing his happiness at his release.

Earlier on Saturday, the Al-Qassam Brigades released 6 Israeli prisoners as part of the seventh and final batch in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, while the occupation forces will release 602 Palestinian prisoners.
The release of the six Israeli prisoners to the Red Cross took place in the city of Rafah and the Nuseirat camp, amidst the presence of Qassam Brigades fighters and a large popular presence.
The platforms for handing over Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip carried many messages to the occupying state, as pictures of the Palestinian resistance leaders who were martyred during the recent Israeli aggression appeared.
The phrase "We are the flood...we are the great might" also appeared on the delivery platform that was set up in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, in addition to the phrase "For red freedom there is a door that every blood-stained hand knocks on," a verse of poetry that was recited by the former head of the political bureau of Hamas, the martyr Yahya Sinwar, in one of his video recordings before his martyrdom following an armed clash with the occupation army in Rafah last year.
In the Nuseirat camp, Al-Qassam Brigades placed a main sign on which was written in three languages: Arabic, Hebrew and English: “The land knows its people... from the foreigners with dual citizenship.”
On the left of this sign appears a picture of a tree with its roots in the ground, and in the middle of it the Palestinian flag is wrapped, indicating the Palestinians’ adherence and roots to their land.
On January 19, the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and the Israeli occupation state came into effect, with Qatari, Egyptian and American mediation.
The agreement, which was reached after 15 months of Israeli aggression, consists of 3 stages, each lasting 42 days, during which negotiations will take place to begin a second stage, then a third, leading to the end of the war of extermination.
