14 people killed and injured in traffic accidents in the liberated governorates

Last Saturday, the liberated areas and governorates witnessed a series of traffic accidents that resulted in the death of 4 people and the injury of 10 others, including 4 injuries described as serious.
According to the traffic statistics announced by the General Department of Traffic Police and its branches in the governorates, 16 traffic accidents were recorded last Saturday, including 9 vehicle collisions, 4 vehicle rollover accidents, one run-over accident, in addition to an accident involving a car falling off a car and a car running.
The breakdown of accidents by governorate showed that Hadhramaut Coast Governorate witnessed 5 accidents, resulting in the death of two people and the injury of two others, while Taiz Governorate recorded 3 accidents, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of 3 others.
In Hadhramaut Valley Governorate, one accident resulted in the death of one person, while Ma'rib Governorate witnessed 5 accidents that resulted in the injury of 5 people. As for Lahj Governorate, one accident was recorded without any human losses.
The statistics indicated that excessive speed, wrong overtaking, and technical malfunctions of vehicles were among the most prominent causes of traffic accidents that occurred yesterday, according to what was stated by the Security Media Center.
