Traffic accidents claimed the lives of 57 people in February in the liberated areas

The Yemeni Ministry of Interior announced the death of 57 people in traffic accidents in the liberated areas during last February.
According to traffic statistics published by the security media, the liberated areas witnessed 369 traffic accidents last February, resulting in the death of 57 people and the injury of 282 others, 160 of whom were described as serious injuries.
The statistics indicated that the accidents that caused financial losses amounted to 113 million and 270 thousand riyals, varied between 223 vehicle collision accidents, 72 pedestrian run-over accidents, 48 vehicle rollover accidents, 13 collisions with a fixed object, 12 falling from a vehicle accidents, in addition to 3 vehicle running accidents.
