23 Houthi elements killed and injured by army forces' fire northwest of Taiz

The National Army announced today, Tuesday, the killing and wounding of 23 Houthi militia members by its forces' fire in night battles northwest of Taiz (southwest of Yemen).

The Taiz Military Axis said in a brief statement on Facebook that the failed attack by the Houthi militia on its forces’ positions on the air defense front northwest of the city resulted in the death of 8 militia members and the injury of 15 others.

Last night, violent confrontations took place in which various types of weapons were used between army forces and Houthi militia on the air defense front, following a violent attack launched by the militia on army positions.

The army later announced the thwarting of the Houthi attack after hours of confrontations that come as part of a new wave of escalation by the militia on various fronts in the governorate.
