Trailers detained by Al-Jaadna tribe in Abyan
The Jaadna tribe in Abyan Governorate said on Saturday that it had seized trailers and fuel trucks belonging to the Transitional Council and coalition forces, to demand the disclosure of the fate of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, who has been hidden in the prisons of the Transitional Council in Aden for five months.
The spokesman for the Ashal case, "Muqbil Ali Al-Jaadani", explained to "Yemeni Youth Net" that "the tribal sector on the coastal line in Ahwar Directorate detained about 30 diesel, fuel and petroleum tankers belonging to the coalition."
Regarding the military vehicles, he said that they are being forced back from where they came, noting that the sector in the Lahmar area in Mudiyah District is still in place, but there is nothing that can be detained, as the coalition and transitional forces are passing along the coastal line.
Last Wednesday, the Jaadna tribes in Abyan Governorate announced the cutting off of the international line in Abyan to military vehicles and mechanisms belonging to the coalition and the Transitional Council, starting from Thursday, November 14.
The Jaadna tribes announced in a statement that they "agreed and decided to impose the international line that passes through their land, the Al-Hamr area, on all military vehicles and mechanisms belonging to the coalition and the Transitional Council.
The Jaadna tribes warned the leadership of the Transitional Council and the Emirates against betting on their patience, stressing that their patience has run out. At the same time, they called on "the leaders and members of the military formations affiliated with the Transitional Council to stand with them, pressure their leadership to quickly release Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, and the least they can do is avoid crossing our land to avoid strife and out of respect for ancestors and customs."
Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani, an army officer, was kidnapped on June 12 from the Al-Taqniya area in the interim capital, Aden, by elements of the leadership of the so-called Counter-Terrorism Force, affiliated with the UAE-backed Transitional Council.
