Chief of Staff reviews the progress of receiving students of the 35th batch at the Aviation and Air Defense College in Marib

Today, the Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, reviewed the progress of receiving students of the 35th batch at the Aviation and Air Defense College in Marib city.

The Chief of Staff welcomed the joining of this group of elite young men representing various Yemeni governorates to serve in the armed forces, congratulating them on their acceptance into the college and their success in the registration and acceptance exams, expressing his confidence that they will be a model of discipline and keenness to receive scientific and practical knowledge and sciences and to comply with the rules and regulations.

The Chief of Staff stressed the Leadership Council's interest in developing and building the Armed Forces and the Air Force and Air Defense College, which is entrusted with preparing and qualifying a new generation of army officers armed with science, the arts of war, and high combat and training efficiency.

He appreciated the efforts of the college leadership, teachers, administrative and training cadres in advancing the educational process and promoting national values and principles, thanking the main and sub-committees for registration and admission for their efforts in making the admission exam procedures for this batch a success in accordance with the system and precise professional and scientific controls.

The Chief of Staff referred to the efforts of the Supreme Command, the Ministry of Defense leadership, and the General Staff Presidency to modernize the nation’s defense establishment and enhance its capabilities and readiness to carry out its constitutional and national duties with professionalism and competence.

He stressed that the heroes of the armed forces, security and resistance, and alongside them all the free people of the nation and its living forces, are the bearers of the banner of the republic, and with their hands and determination, victory will be achieved by restoring the state and ending the rebellion of the terrorist Houthi group and its destructive Iranian project, so that Yemen can regain its security, peace and stability.
